How to View All Pokemon Cards From a Specific Artist

Every Pokemon card in the TCG is created by a card illustrator, and many collectors enjoy tracking down cards based on who drew them. Trading Card Dex lets you search Pokemon cards by artist, so you can view all cards from any illustrator in the game. Whether you want to explore a specific artist’s full portfolio or find out who illustrated your favorite card, there are two easy ways to do it.

Method 1: Search by Artist From the Database STEP 1: Go to the Database Navigate to pokemon.tradingcarddex.com/database in your browser. This is the main Pokemon card database where all search filters are available.

STEP 2: Select the Artist You Want On the left side of the page, find the artist filter. Browse or search the list to find the card illustrator you are looking for. Every artist who has ever illustrated a Pokemon TCG card is included.

STEP 3: Press Search Click the Search button to view every Pokemon card illustrated by that artist. All of their card artwork across every set and series will be displayed in the results.

Method 2: Find the Artist Directly From a Card STEP 1: Go to Any Card Page If you are already viewing a card and want to see more work from the same artist, go to that card’s detail page on Trading Card Dex.

STEP 2: Click on the Artist Name The illustrator’s name is listed on the card page. Click on it to instantly view every other card illustrated by that same artist, no need to go back to the database and search manually.

Many illustrators have a distinctive art style. Browsing all their cards at once is a great way to discover artwork you may have missed across different sets. - Combine the artist filter with a set filter to see which cards a specific illustrator contributed to a particular expansion. - Collectors who focus on specific artists can use this as a checklist to track down every card by their favorite illustrator. - Some popular Pokemon card artists include Mitsuhiro Arita, Ken Sugimori, and PLANETA Mochizuki.
